Mark your calendars for the Market's most popular and anticipated event of the year - Mardi Gras! Join us Friday, Saturday and Sunday, March 4-6 and Fat Tuesday, March 8 for live Cajun and Zydeco music, including Grammy-nominated Lisa Haley & The Zydekats, parade bands and "Carni-Gras," a special fusion of Brazilian Carnivale and Mardi Gras on Sunday, March 6. They'll be special kid-friendly activities too - bead-throwing, face painting, crazy hat decorating and shaker making workshops.
